To the family, my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you be comforted by the “Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort” (2 Cor 1:3) that one day, “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) May these promises from God’s word, the Bible give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

I will remember Chet for his humor. We spent a lot of time comparing our wives who as sisters had a lot of similar traits. We used to meet him and Charlotte about twice a year at a Indiana or Kentucky State Park for lunch. JoAnn and I both looked forward to these fun times. Chet and I had the US Navy in common. We both served and of course “war” stories were told every time we got together. Rest in peace old friend, we will miss you.

Charlotte, I read about Chet’s passing in the Louisville paper. As you know, we were long-time friends going way back to high school. Even though we’ve lost contact in recent years, I have fond memories of our friendship and I send my sympathy and blessings to you and your family.

Dear Charlotte, after over 40 years, we still fondly remember the Guynn’s. You, Chet and your family were a wonderful blessing to our little church in Paoli. Someday, we will see him again and fellowship together. God bless your family. Ray and Rosemary Trinkle.
